VITAMIN B1
Vitamin B1, or thiamine, helps the body maintains sensory nerve conduction and plays an essential part in neurotransmission.

As one of the B vitamins, Vitamin B1 plays an important part in carbohydrate metabolism. It acts as an important coenzyme in the Krebs cycle in order to produce energy. It is also the coenzyme in the reactions of glucose metabolism that also produces energy. Sufficient supply of vitamin B1 is needed for the proper maintenance of the peripheral nervous system and the cardiovascular system.
