VITAMIN B6

Vitamin B6 forms the enzyme group of certain decarboxylases involved in the metabolism of nerve tissue. Its supply is essential for DNA synthesis. It has been shown that many maternal diets in several studies were consistently lacking vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 is also needed for the physiological process of erythropoiesis which regulates oxygen levels through sufficient red blood cell production.
